LONDON,: After an extensive tendering process, WDSi Group have been awarded
a high profile multi-year contract to design, build and maintain a state of the art
wireless network for a world famous performing arts, grade one listed building in
Covent Garden, London.
WDSi were approved after a detailed and extensive selection process that involved
all leading major vendors of wireless hardware/software. WDSi were able to
demonstrate not only their vendor neutral approach, but could point towards many
successful reference projects that could guarantee the quality and support that the
customer was seeking to gain from a partner.
Built in 1732, the Grade One listed building provides unique challenges and
requirements for wireless design and operation. WDSi have many years of
experience with listed buildings and could demonstrate a unique track record in
delivering high performance results, whilst working within the boundaries of
limitations of the physical structures.
WDSi are working with the client to deliver a robust wireless infrastructure across the
whole of the site (including a new build visitor centre) that underpins a strategic
digital plan to deliver operational and customer facing experiences and services.
